In this section, you will need to select YES or NO to all answers, apart from 4.2 where you will have the option of uploading a copy of your Club Safeguarding policy.
To upload a cop of this policy you need to click on the Red paper icon highlighted.
In the pop-up box that appears, you then need to change the document type to Supporting document instead of Generated by COMET.
You then need to click the Choose button and upload your Clubs Policy by double clicking on it wherever it is saved on your device.
Club users with User Creator access are able to send log in details to other users at their club who have been provided with COMET access but have not received or lost their log in details.
You can find a guide to giving someone at your club user access to COMET here.
To send new log in details, click on the Users tab in your My Club page, then click on the name of the person you want to send log in details to in the list of users.
The next screen will be the person’s user profile. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Edit.
This is the stage where you can also change user permissions, by ticking and unticking the user role boxes, or make a person’s access to COMET inactive, by clicking Inactive.
If a person has told you they have never received their log in details, it is worth checking at this stage that their email address has been entered correctly in the top part of the page. If there are mistakes, the email address can be corrected when you have clicked Edit.
To send new log in details to a person, click Options and then Change Password.
Then select Change Password on the pop-up.
This will automatically generate an email with the person’s username and a new passport, to the email address entered at the top of the user profile.
