In this section, you will need to select YES or NO to all answers, apart from 4.2 where you will have the option of uploading a copy of your Club Safeguarding policy.

To upload a cop of this policy you need to click on the Red paper icon highlighted.

In the pop-up box that appears, you then need to change the document type to Supporting document instead of Generated by COMET.

You then need to click the Choose button and upload your Clubs Policy by double clicking on it wherever it is saved on your device.

Click on 'My club'

Once logged into COMET, click the Clubs button on the left hand side of the screen. On the dropdown menu in the clubs section, click on the My club button.

Click on the player you wish to cancel

Once on your My Club page, click on the players tab highlighted and then simply click on the player you wish to cancel.

This will take you onto their registration page.

Click the Edit button on the active registration

Once on the players Active registrations page, click the Edit button on the players active registration in order to begin the cancellation.

Input the date of Cancellation

Once you have clicked the Edit button, you firstly need to input the date to of the registration.

This will always be the date you are carrying out the cancellation.

Then select the termination reason

After putting the date to in, you then need to put the reason for cancelling the registration.

You can select the reason from the dropdown menu as highlighted.

Click on 'TERMINATE'

Once you have input the Date to of the registration and also the Termination reason, you then just need to click the TERMINATE button.

Confirm the Termination

Once you have clicked the TERMINATE button, a pop-up box will then appear as shown.

Simply confirm the cancellation by clicking the TERMINATE button in the pop-up box.

Please note FAW rule 79 (A) before proceeding with this termination - Once a player's registration has been cancelled with your Club, they cannot sign for another club in Wales until 28 days has passed.

The quickest way for a player to move to another club is via the Transfer process, the termination process should only be used in cases where a player is no longer playing football at this time and you wish to remove them from your club records.

You have now cancelled the player's registration

Once you have clicked the TERMINATE button in the pop-up box, the system will take you back to the players page and you will notice the active registration has now disappeared.

This means the player's registration has now been cancelled with your club.
